Al holds a USSF C license and coaches the 07B Red team and the 10B In-House program.

Al played at Canada College in Redwood City for two years before transferring to play at Cal State Fullerton in Orange County.  After graduating in 2015, Al began his coaching career.  Al coaches at Valley Christian High School in San Jose. Al also coaches at Force South Soccer Club.
